Terms of Service

The service

Orchard Youth provides informational youth activity schedules by phone, sends recurring automated schedule reminders and updates, and may send occasional longer email notices about permission slips and long-term plans to people who separately opt in. It is not an emergency service or a replacement for direct instructions from youth leaders.

Eligibility and consent

You must provide a phone number and any email address you control or are authorized to enroll. A parent or legal guardian must make the selections for a participant under 13 and should do so whenever a participant cannot consent on their own. Text, voice, and email consent are separate and optional, and each can be withdrawn independently at any time. Email delivery begins only after address verification.

Independent youth website access requires prior, recorded parent or legal-guardian notice and consent for the exact youth and sign-in method. An age 13–17 youth may begin a Google sign-in, but receives no access until a verified guardian approves. Youth access is limited to that youth's own authorized schedule, lessons, assignments, tasks, deadlines, and preparation resources. A youth-started under-13 request does not open Google or collect a child login identifier; a parent or guardian must initiate that protected process.

Text and voice program terms

By selecting text reminders, you agree to receive recurring automated informational SMS messages from Orchard Youth, sent from +13852842226. By separately selecting voice reminders, you agree to receive occasional automated informational calls. Message frequency varies, typically 1–4 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to cancel texts and HELP for help. To stop both text and voice reminders, use the unsubscribe page or contact [email protected]. After opting out, you may receive one confirmation message. You must opt in again before recurring messages resume.

Email program terms

By selecting occasional email and verifying the address, you agree to receive infrequent messages about permission slips and long-term youth activity plans, usually no more than 1–2 per month. Every email includes a link that stops email without changing text or voice choices. Routine next-day reminders are not sent through this channel.

Availability and accuracy

Schedules may change, and messages may be delayed, filtered, or unavailable. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. When information conflicts, follow the latest direct instruction from an authorized leader.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to submit another person’s number without permission, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access information or systems you are not authorized to use.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may update these terms as the service changes and will revise the effective date above. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use.
